Academic Staffing Inc., is seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our educational team. As a Psychologist in the school setting you will assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs, while collaborating with teachers and parents to develop tailored intervention plans. You will provide expertise in promoting positive learning environments, addressing learning challenges, and supporting students' overall well-being.

• Guaranteed 38 hours per week
• Pay starting at $69 /hr (w2 or 1099)

Sign on bonus of $1,500 for commitment to the whole school year

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in School Psychology required
• Active TN- School Psychology Educational License (or ability to obtain) required
• Tennessee Department of Education license preferred

Psychologist Job Role:

• Conducting assessments: Administering cognitive, emotional, and behavioral assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges.
• Collaborating with stakeholders: Meeting with teachers, parents, and administrators to discuss student progress, develop intervention strategies, and provide guidance on classroom management.
• Providing support: Offering counseling and guidance to students facing emotional or behavioral difficulties, and assisting teachers with implementing effective teaching methods for diverse learning needs.
• Documentation and planning: Writing assessment reports, intervention plans, and progress updates, while continually adapting strategies to meet the evolving needs of students.
