School-Based Speech Language Pathologist
Job Type: Full-time (35 hours/week) for the 2023-2024 school year
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals in our school-based setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address students' individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students' academic and social success
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience in school-based setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
