Special Education Teacher - $200 daily

Each teacher must hold an Illinois teaching certificate in the same area of disability as the students assigned to the classroom. (LBS1)
The teacher is the person directly responsible for the students assigned on his/her class list. The teacher is the team leader for the student and is responsible for coordinating the necessary special education, supportive services and general education services to meet each child's needs. The teacher is directly responsible to his/her assigned sector, program or department supervisor.

· Must have a bachelor’s degree
· Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and manage projects
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills
· Demonstrated ability to solve problems and offer solutions
· Must be creative and forward thinking
· Proficient in Microsoft 10
· Proficient with Outlook
· Must be proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
· Pass Criminal background check
· Pass DCS background check
Direct Supervisor:
Teachers are supervised by a Sector Supervisor or Program Principal and Leads (under the supervision of the sector supervisor or program principal).
