Gate Welcome Attendant


An ESS Permanent Gate Welcome Attendant will serve as the first point of contact for all campus visitors and must be able to communicate clearly and respectfully.


Responsibilities

  • Signing in guests, checking licenses and parking passes, giving directions, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter campus.
  • Prior experience in security, school environments, or public interaction is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and complete fingerprinting per ESS and district policy.
  • Training will be provided covering all safety and procedural expectations, including emergency response, campus layout, and visitor management protocols.
  • Pay is based on education and experience. Minimum education of high school diploma or GED is required.

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED
  • State/FBI Criminal History Clearance
  • Drug Screen – Varies by District
