Human Resources Assistant
The human resources assistant performs duties in some or all the following functional areas: interviewing scheduling and preparation, record retention, data input and output, and mandated reporting updates.

Supervisory Responsibility:
• There is no supervisory responsibility in this position.
Work Environment:
• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Travel: Little travel to client locations is expected for this position.
Education and Experience:
• Level of Degree: Associates Degree beneficial
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Advanced computer competency in using databases and the ability to learn other software as needed.
• HRMS experience beneficial
• Ability to create, manage and edit spreadsheets and various reports
• Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish goals and to problem solve.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
