Who We Seek

Proximity Learning (an ESS company) seeks a Virtual Classroom Facilitator that has a strong classroom presence, with the ability to organize a classroom and implement systems and routines to create a calm and safe learning environment where students can succeed in a digital classroom. The ideal facilitator will also have a strong grasp on using technology as a means of gathering and communicating information.


Responsibilities

  • Establish exemplary classroom structure and routines
  • Ensure that all students can thrive in a digital learning environment
  • Regular communication (email and phone) with Proximity Learning Teacher
  • Liaison of grade input from online system to district grading system
  • Manage students during online class session
  • Troubleshoot basic technology support as needed
  • Support enrollment of new students into Proximity Learning class by communicating with the Proximity Learning team


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of Proximity Learning, Inc. Facilitator Training and Orientation
  • Experience managing a classroom of students (preferred)
  • State/FBI Criminal History Clearance
